What started as a "low key" birithday party, turned into quite a bit of people coming over!

It was nice to have a full house and realize that Hey, I do know some people!

For her party entertainment, we had a craft table. The kids could all paint a pirate or princess mask, and we had some ceramic figurines to paint as well!

I am super bummed that I didnt take a picture of my nephew! Who is adorable and I cant wait to see him and Owen play. I also failed to get a shot of all the adults. FAIL

 I am PROUD of this! Never have I made a cake for my kids...this was my first attempt and it was delicious and cute! I was sad to cut it up....glad to know I am capable though!

I also made the "cake plate" out of cardboard and wrapping paper....ghetto! haha

In all, fun day! Next time I will try and get more photos of the guests...I was running around like crazy trying to make sure everything was going smoothly so I guess I am lucky I got the ones I did!

Half a year old.

Owen Nicholas! You are half a year old.
I know....I am just as shocked as you are.

I wanted to write this on the floor next to you....so I layed down with my laptop. You promptly got up on all fours, CRAWLED over to me and are now trying to grab the screen and help me type. What do you have to say to us?

Okay I will move now before you break my screen.

So yes, you can crawl now. You were army crawling a few weeks ago then last night on your six month birthday you figured out how to crawl on all fours.

You can do a great impression of Hailey now you say "bla bla bla bla bla." I know she talks a lot but we love her. You are still convinced she is the greatest invention since sliced bread. You love to try and steal Hunters bionicles and he thinks its hilarious that you try.

Hunter was so proud of you when you crawled, he is already asking when you're going to walk. Please hold off on that one for awhile.

You have started your quest on real food. You have tried Apples, bananas, Avocado and sweet potatoes. I also gave you a taste of Texas roadhouse rolls tonight at my birthday dinner. You also love mum-mum crackers.

You still love to lay on your belly and kick your feet as fast as you can. I think I will miss that the most about you being immobile....I don't know how long you will do that for after you can go go go!.

Your new thing is getting on all fours, pointing your toes and sticking your butt way up in the air.

Owen, you are growing so fast. You already want to be on the move, even when I am holding you, you are trying to crawl up me. Nothing is safe when you're near either, you will grab at everything and you are so quick.

Your favorite toy is "lil Zoomers" the cars zoom around in circles and you love to try and grab them as they go around. You also love anything thats not a toy that you can stick in your mouth

First time sitting like a big boy in the cart.

I took you for your six month shots yesterday, you weighed 17lbs and are 25.5" tall. You are wearing some 6-9month clothes and some 12month clothes!

Best part though....you sleep like a champ!

Im sure by seven months I will be writing how I chase you all over the house...You are a joy to know Owen. So Happy, Loving, and such a good good baby....seriously.

My little girl, You are turning FOUR. I am in shock...the years have seriously flown by. They all warned me they would!

Tomorrow you will wake up to a room of pink (your favorite color) streamers and balloons covering your floor. I know you will think it is the greatest thing that ever happened to you. You feel that way about everything! I love your pizazz for life!

I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. You were my pain med free baby, luckily you were born REALLY quick! One push and out came our beautiful little girl. Daddy was totally terrified, it was really cute. We were so happy to meet you! Hunter came that morning to the hospital to meet you and was so excited. He forgot right away that you were not a boy, regardless of how many times he argued it while you were in belly. He seemed to be okay with the fact you were a girl once he met you.

Now you and Hunter go from best of friends, to fighting monkeys back to loving each other! Thats how it is with boys and girls though.

You spend the days being creative, you are always imagining something. I love to watch you play because you are able to incorporate EVERY SINGLE TOY you have into whatever you are playing.

You are such a great big sister, You love to make Owen laugh! He is mesmorized with you too! You always tell me "Mommy, I love baby Owen because he is SO cute!"

You can spell your name now! H-a-i-l-e-y You love to write the letter H and build it with Legos. Drawing is still one of your favorite activities, you love to "borrow" my notebooks where I keep track of bills and make it much more interesting with your drawings. Even though its hard to find the notebook when I need it, I sure get to smile when I see what you left me.

You remind me so much of me, you're funny, on the go, a bit OCD and quite easily distracted by shiny objects. I love to watch you run, skip jump and play and your curls go flying after you like they are trying to keep up!

You love to watch the Rugrats, which you call "wondergrats!" and Cinderella is still your favorite princess. We went and saw Tangled, and halfway through the movie you said "Im going to take a nap now" and off you went to slumberland. I love that you are still a Nap taker! Definitely got that from your Daddy.

Daddy is in Korea for your birthday, you miss him so much. He misses you too but we are so fortunate to be able to see him everyday on skype!

We love you Hailey Danielle Bear! Happy fourth birthday and thanks for putting the GIRLY crazy fun into our family.
