I heart faces-White

 My beautiful daughter Hailey and I did a shoot this morning. I heart faces WHITE challenge is this week. I knew it was time for me and my only Daughter to play dress up! I think having one girl and two boys is the perfect balance, luckily for me my daughter really plays the role of girly girl well.

Hailey goes to Pre School

Last year my little girl went off to what we called pre pre school. You can see that HERE. This year she went to the real thing! She is so excited to be at the same school as Hunter. I heard that Hunter likes to peek in on the classroom and make sure his little sister is having a good day, so sweet! She loves her teacher Mrs. D and is very excited to go to school every day!

I asked her a few questions about going to pre school...

Whats your favorite thing about pre school?

Playing with the toys, playing outside and inside.

Lola!

I heart Faces- Pets week!

Our family recently got a new puppy...a few months ago we sadly lost a great dog to the wilderness. We dont know where he went or if he is okay, the kids were really devastated and so was I!  A few months later a nearby friends dog  had some lab puppies ready to go to new homes and she offered us a chocolate lab puppy. I said no no no I cant do a puppy right now but thanks! 

The next day she was at our house with Stella, and said "Do a trial run, she's a great puppy and if its too much bring her back no questions asked."

Could you resist this face?

We sure couldn't, and its true she's a wonderful puppy!

Insta Friday!

  Heres a look into our week via instagram! What a great week it was too. A few weeks ago things were getting rather difficult. The almost there deployment itch I think struck hard and I was being useless. Suddenly everything seems so much better and our week shows how beautiful things can be.

I went to see Harry Potter with my brother, he just saw all the movies the week before and I promised if he finished i'd take him to the last one. This was on the stop sign in the parking lot!

I did a photo shoot at the beautiful City Park in downtown Denver


and visited with a Pirate at the Denver Science Museum


Drove home my friend Owl. He got lost delivering mail.


Hunter went to THIRD grade!

Last night was an 80's Zumba party, most fun ive had in years! It was great.

Ten on Ten

We had a boring day, and it was lovely!  One of us was recovering from the stomach flu, I am adjusting to 6am wake ups, and O is a bit fussy still since his shots. A boring day was just what we needed.

I wake up at 6am, hours before the kids do now to get some peace before the day begins. It has given me a lot more patience! I had coffee with this beautiful sunflower this morning in my backyard.

 Watching a movie at lunchtime with the recovering boy. Hes feeling much better today.

Smiles! Can you believe he starts THIRD grade tomorrow? I remember everything about third grade! 

Mr. O has been learning facial expressions lately, so very funny!

I especially love his duck face...or bitter beer face... I love having boys!

I was laying on the floor really tired when these walked into view, oh how I love baby feet.
