Ketchup

Wow, where do I even begin? One of the things that brings me so much sadness is that I don't regularly update this blog anymore.  It used to be full of funny kidisms and our adventures but as time went on and my photography took up more of my time, the blog died. I'd love to sit here and promise that I will continue this from now on, but who knows if I will remember I said that!

Since the last time I posted in January of 2015, you can imagine that a lot has happened. We went through the biggest change a family can go through but I am happy to say that we have all been pulling through it. The kids and I have moved up to Littleton, and they're all flourishing in a really great school district and schools.

Hunter finished up 6th grade at Fountain middle school, and continued his love of Pokemon throughout the entire year. He was best friends with Yessiah and was very sad when we moved up to Littleton. Luckily we have been able to keep them in contact and hes always happy to see his friend. Hunter did well in ABA therapy and grew another few inches. He now has bigger feet than me and is 5ft tall.  In the fall of 2015 he started 7th grade, he took a photography class (woohoo) and also a digital design class which he loves. He has made quite a few friends and loves going swimming at the rec center near our house. Today, as I am writing this he turned 13 years old! WHAT. Tomorrow we are taking him and his friend Aiden to a really cool go cart place so they can race.

Hailey is still the funny, curly headed, crazy girl we all love. She has such a funny personality but is also very sensitive to those around her. She has a huge heart! Everyone says she looks exactly like me, and she definitely stole my eyes. She finished up 2nd grade down in Fountain and is now doing awesome in 3rd grade. She did so well the teacher told me she didn't need to have a parent teacher conference, WIN!  Hailey has friends everywhere she goes and currently loves going to Muy Thai...hopefully this love will last awhile. Last year in the fall she took up cheer leading and did a performance during Dakota Ridge High Schools football game. She loves adventuring in the mountains and cant wait for us to go camping this year.  She was also just accepted into the Bronco Junior Cheerleader program, she is so excited for that to begin this coming season!

Owen finished up preschool, and turned five over the summer. In Fall he started full day kindergarten! My last baby, off to full day school, wheres the medal? Owen has had a speech delay since he was a baby but since starting kindergarten he has made leaps of progress. I noticed over the last weekend when he is telling stories he makes so much more sense now, and even using adjectives and verbs. He is the funniest kid and his imagination is my favorite thing. Owen spends his day turning sticks into swords or wands, sometimes zombie killers. He is constantly playing and imagining an epic world to play in. He is still the king of epic faces!

As for me, I work as an Assistant now and still do photography in my free time. I'm a total gym junkie and was able to lose roughly 50 lbs since last year!  Pretty sweet.
