I am thankful for...

Shame on me!

Its November 11 and I have only taken about 50 pictures so far this month!

That is unheard of for me...Usually by the 11th I easily have 125.

What can I say, Ive been busy....

Here is something I took a lot of pictures of.





This was one of the first few, that line got darker and darker.

Thats right, I am PREGNANT with numbero 3!

woot!


Peeing on pregnancy sticks is quite a game which I wonder if other women play as well.

It says wait 3 minutes before looking, do you wait? I know I dont...I stare it down.

Then you think you see something, so you pick it up and twist it and hold it upside down, put it up to the light, away from the light.

Then you put it down and walk away and come back and do the same....then what I do, Is bust that test open and pull the whole strip out.

Sometimes I will even take a picture of it and photoshop it to make sure that line is really there.

Then when you know for sure it is positive, its time for the HAPPY DANCE!


I think in all its because I know in my heart I am pregnant so I know that line is going to be there. I do not wait until I am late so I torture myself with the faint lines.



Well anyway, thats the game I play with the pee sticks.

An Army of a day.

We started our Thursday morning with my Husband reenlisting to stay in the United States Army for 4 more years. Its our 3rd reenlistment since he was deployed in Iraq in 2005.

I love the tradition of the reenlistment, it is done in front of his whole Unit.

The wives are given a certificate too.
Us Army Wives are just as much in as our husbands. They may be the ones who deploy and physically go to work, but we stay home and do all the other work :)

The Army also traditionally gives you some gifts for reenlistment. This time he scored a laptop bag, an ACU blanket and a Coffee Mug, SAWEEET!

After the oath and dispensement of Gifts, they give a speech.

The first 2 times Russ forgot to thank his lovely wife and I gave him hell for it. Now he Thanks me first!

After our Army filled morning my hubs got the day off and we were just relaxing at home when we got word that our First duty station was in the midst of a tragedy.

As im sure everyone heard a gunmen went crazy and killed and wounded our fellow Army family members. My prayers are and will continue to be with anyone who was affected by this tragedy and for our old home of Fort Hood.

Fort Hood was the beginning of Army life for me. When I met my husband he was stationed there. It was the first post I ever went on, it was the first time I ever experienced the military.

We were Married in Fort Hood.

We welcomed Russ home from Iraq in Fort Hood.

We made lifelong friends in Fort Hood.

Our beautiful Daughter was born in Fort hood.

She was also baptized here.

Fort Hood was my first home away from Denver.

Fort Hood holds a big place in our hearts and it always will.

Happy birthday Max?

Oh the things we do as parents to make our children happy.

Hunter came home crying tonight, he was super upset about not being able to attend a party nearby. So My husband comes up with this brilliant idea "Lets throw our own party!" So we decided since about a year ago we adopted our dog Max, that it was now Max' birthday.

Russ and hailey "decorated" while Hunter and I went to pick up his friend Nathan and then went and got a cake and party favors lol.

Anyway it was funny. My dog, well I cant tell from these pictures if he was pleased or not.

Max' Cake....don't worry he didn't get any, he got a bone.

Well Happy Birthday max! Maybe we'll just go ahead and make this your birthday and guess that you are 4ish today?

Halloween on Mt. Vernon Street. 2009

Along with Bobba fett and Tinkerbell we hit up Mount Vernon street for Trick or Treating this year. It was an incredible experience. People who live on this street LITERALLY spend about 200-300$ on candy alone. Thousands of kids go to this street every year and I see why, it was so cool!

Here is a little view into our Halloween day.

My mother in law made Haileys costume, didnt she do an amazing job???

The First house we visited, See that tub? FULL of Candy! Thats how every house was except some people had about 8 tubs.

Lost of them dressed up and had the whole house decked out!

This is just a few people ther at this point, it was about 4:15pm

We stood in line at this house for about 15 minutes and scored full size hershey bars!
