One of my favorite things about being a parent is the hilarious things they say to me throughout the day.
I just had a conversation with Hunter about out new President Barack Obama...this is how it went.
I said "Hunter what does the President do?"
Hunter said "I don't know lots of stuff"
like what?
"He likes to play in his backyard with his padoodle" (Im guessing he knows about the Labradoodle)
is that all he does?
"No he works really hard for his boss"
Who is his boss?
"Mrs.Obama"
Another funny President one he said....
His teacher asked him who drew pictures in books and he said "the illustrator" then she said who writes all the books? and he said "the president!"
On another note....we are officially "potty training" She is so beyond ready and I know that if she just peed ONE time in the potty it would click. I need to flood her with fluids and make her sit until it all comes out.
They say girls are easier? so heres hoping!

Time to buy some lotto tickets!
I am on a string of good luck today.
I got the best news ever from a Dentist regarding payments and can FINALLY get my teeth fixed! I need 2 root canals, a whole mouth load of fillings and a wisdom pulled. I am so excited to finally have this done.
A company approved my request that we REALLY needed to be done.
and there are brownies in the oven! Yes this was made luck, but hey I'm excited.
Also Hunter had ZERO cavities!!!! That is a huge accomplishment from his first visit!
Yay Hunter!

My 25 things. Yes I got sucked in too!
1. I can speak backwards. I can think backwards and write backwards. You can ask me to say and or spell any word backwards and I can do it just as fast as I can forwards.
2. Moving to Arizona was a big weight lifted off my shoulders, I feel like I am home again but I am super excited about moving back to Denver in the next couple of years.
3. I know this girl, I have known her for 10 long years....we have had our "hiatus" but since it ended I have never felt closer to a person and I hope she knows how much I love her.
4. if this girl convinces her husband to move here, I swear my life would be complete!!!
5. When I found out I was pregnant I was only 18 years old, I wasn't afraid at al because I knew this lil boy would save my life, and he did.
6. I never imagined myself being a 25 year old Army wife with 2 children, but I also couldnt imagine my life as anything different. Well I could imagine the not Army part :)
7. 92% of the time I am trying to be funny and there are a lot of people that don't understand that.
8. My husband has a tendency to drive me INSANE, but we deal.
9. I wish I lived on a farm with 6 horses, 4 Labrador retrievers and a couple of cats. I would LOVE to live the rancher life and whenever I watch ranch movies I am totally jealous.
10. I went a week without Internet and almost lost my mind, I forgot how to function without it.
11. I am truly amazed at technology and children these days, at the age of 5 my son knows more about the internet than I did at the age of 15. He also has never known a telephone without a camera attached to it.
12. I am completely proud of myself that I am in college, I am completely saddened that RARELY the people I love tell me they are proud of me for doing it.
13. In 2011 I will have an associates degree and will be that much closer to being an elementary teacher. I have my son to thank for pointing me in the right direction.
14. The friends I love the most, I met on the internet.
15. I constantly think about having a third child, this thought always freaks me out.
16. I love that my friends come to me for advice, However I am always worried that I give horrible advice and should maybe keep my mouth shut.
17. I absolutely HATE the news on TV, Especially when they twist stories around and gullible people fall for everything they hear. I do however love to read the paper.
18. Whenever I think about how much sports athletes make versus how much the military who puts their life on the line for this country make a year it makes me sick to my stomach and I get insanely pissed off!
19. My grandma was dying and sick for over a year, she died moments after she learned the name of my son and saw his picture when he was 8 days old. This means the world to me its like she waited to know everything was okay with us. I wish she knew how much i missed her and how much I wish I could tell her what I've been up to the last 6 years.
20. I would do almost anything right now to strap on a snowboard and zoom down a mountain with caylen. Out of all the things I've missed in the last 3 years this is definitely at the top of my list.
21. Most of my family lives in Argentina.
22. I am not sure where we will live in 5 years.
23. I loved being 17 years old. I had so much fun hanging out with Kristina and all our friends, I would like to go back and do it again.
24. I love when I find a book that i can't put down. It is so relaxing to throw myself into another persons world for 600 pages. Whenever the book is finished I always feel a sense of triumph and disappointment that it ended so soon.
25. One of the things I love to do the most is take pictures. I love all aspects of Photography.. I want to someday travel around the world and make myself a bad ass calendar. I still am amazed that at the click of a button and some development I can relive a moment that happened years ago.

Ahh....heaven.
Tonight my father in law brought down a California King size bed. It also has a headboard, I have never owned a bed with a head board before.
So Right now I am laying in a Pillow top king size bed, with brand new sheets, brand new pillows, and a brand new comforter set. I feel like I am in a bed of clouds right now.
After 6 weeks of sleeping on an air mattress or a couch and waking up with neck cramps and dead arms....I would say i earned this!
My mom is in town right now, she came on Thursday and leaves tomorrow. Why does the time have to go so quickly?
We went to Bisbee, AZ today and WOW! That place is a sight to see. If i wasn't so comfy right now I would get up and get my camera to upload the pictures.
Maybe tomorrow?

Hello Arizona
Today is January 15th. Weve had quite a few changes since the last time I updated.
On December 5th we all hopped in the car and drove from Missouri to Arizona. We got to see Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and finally drove across the Arizonan border.

The drive took us a total of 36 hours and the kids did better than I did. That last 100 miles is the worst!
We stayed in Prescott until December 18th before we ventured down to our new town for the first time. The scenery is beautiful! Mountains in every direction you look, it reminds me a lot of Denver which is AWESOME! I can be home, without being home.
We spent the first day driving around doing all the in processing we needed to sign for a house. we got in the car at 8am and drove around until 3 when we finally got our house! We stood in our empty house amazed at its beauty and all the wonderful space for about 20 minutes before we had to get BACK in the car and drive the 5 hours to Prescott to get out things. We then left the very next morning and drove back down.
Here is our beautiful house! Fort Huachuca knows what they're doing.

We spent our first Christmas in this house with a HUGE REAL! Tree, it looked great. The kids got everything they could ever want, and so did we OUT OF MISSOURI! and into a beautiful home.
Quickly came 2009 and our baby girl Hailey turned 2. My how time flies. We had a fun party with lots of family and a few friends and she blew out her own candle this year.

and soon after that I turned 25! A whole quarter of a century. Its been a good 25 years and I am looking forward to 75 more.
One of my resolutions this year is to keep this thing going! So heres hoping.
until next time.

Twenty is the number of days before I leave this horrid state.
It also happens to be the number of Months we have lived here...
So Since I am a horrible blogger here are TWENTY things I will NOT miss about Missouri.
1. The BUGS. nuff said
2. Driving 100 miles to get anywhere semi interesting.
3. The on post housing, you barely touch a wall and the paint cracks off. among other horrible defaults.
4. Bridgett. (evil neighbor)
5. Living at the top of a OZARKS hill.
6. Chasing balls down said hill then climbing back up.
7 The humidity.
8. Being cold, yet no snow!
9. The ice storms
10 watching people try and drive on ice.
11. The wal mart in town is the worst wal mart I've ever been in.
12. Being 14 hours away from any form of family.
13. The emergency room is ALWAYS FULL!!!! To the point of not even being able to sit down. You have to wait in line for a seat.
14. Getting an appointment to see a doctor. You have to wake up and call right at 7am and basically try and be caller #1.
15. The people who manage housing and their ridiculous rules.
16. The laundry room kitchen
17. Finding a different species of spider every day YUCK!
18. No Target.
19. Its not colorado.
and TWENTY. Being woken up to trainees screaming their drill sergeants songs.
