Every month is a success now, especially since you have decided to eat every little thing you can off of the floor! Lots of mouth sweeps going on around here.
You grew a new tooth the day before you turned eight months old. My what nice teeth you have, the better to eat things with!
You have found your voice a little more this month. You love to stand around and yell BLA BLA!!!!
I think you're doing an impersonation of Hunter, Hailey and me.
You are learning to clap! Cutest darn thing ever! I love the determination in your face when you make those two hands meet for a tiny yet huge CLAP!
You love to be carried around in your Ergo...I love carrying you around in your ergo, and so did Daddy.
We love it SO much we sometimes forget all about the stroller, oops!
You've been cruising! Since learning to pull up, you quickly learned you could use objects to get around! You are really growing up way too fast mister.
I started giving you a bath in the BIG bathtub! Its a bit scary for me, but you love it. Since I wont post a picture of that here's one of your beautiful eyes :)
The weather has been getting nicer, so we have been venturing into the back yard! The first time I put you in the grass you had NO idea what to think...then you tried to eat some of the grass and I quickly put a stop to it. You slowly decided it was okay to crawl in, but crawled right up to me and held on for dear life. The more we go out though, the more you love the outside.
You have been a bit of a pickle with sleeping lately, I blame your teeth. You sleep great at night and during the day but between 5pm and 10pm if you're sleeping you want me to be holding you. Which is conveniently the busiest time of day around here. Its a good thing you're so cute.
Nana bought us all a zoo membership, we go A LOT. You love the giraffes and the gorillas...the gorillas always seem very interested in you too.
You love being able to stand up and see your world, I love looking at your chunky thighs hold up your stubby little body.
You also went up to 14,000 feet! Welcome to the fourteener club buddy! We went up to Pikes Peak and you did great, born to be an adventurist!
Until next month little man, and once again I beg you PLEASE slow down a little!
This was taken the day after Julianne passed away. Russell and I were looking through family photo albums and enjoying the memories. Here are a few of the 1000 words that come to mind when looking at this photo...
Best friend
