A day at the Denver Zoo

While in Denver my Dad and I took Hailey to the Zoo. It was a nice day, 40 degrees the sun was shining....it snowed for about 10 minutes while we were there then the sun came back out. I love Colorado.

Here are some pictures from our adventure.

Hailey found an animal she could pet.

How often do you get to see a Cheetah hang out in the snow?

Or an African Elephant make a snowball?

Hailey LOVES the elephants...

She wanted to bring him home to "Awizonuh" I told her he would miss the snow.

It started to snow while we were right here so Hailey went in the covered wagon and played a game with papa. She had fun.

Soon after we looked at the gorillas and monkeys, Hailey decided she had enough and passed out while riding on my shoulders. So Papa took over for awhile.



She woke up right as we were leaving :)

Just in case I ever forget, i thought I should write this down.

When Hailey wants to be covered in blankets, she says

"Mommy snuggle me up!"

Last night I was introduced to Mr. Breathe Right Nose Strips....



for the first time in 3 months I can breathe out my nose!!!!!!!!!!



Wahooooooooo.


Why does pregnancy have to affect the nose passage on top of everything else?

The first trimester brain fart

So The entire first trimester I could not think of a thing to blog. Now I am into the 2nd and feeling MUCH better!

We heard babies Heartbeat for the first time and it was beating at 155 :) Any guesses? Im thinking its girl.

I dont even know if anyone was keeping up with us Windsors but I promise to be back up and blogging here soon.

My laptop crashed so I have no way of uploading pictures to a computer which makes blogging rather boring.

Hopefully I figure it out soon!

Miracle on Craig Street.

I had my ultrasound on Tuesday.

We saw our beautiful looking bean!

They gave us a picture, a picture I will hold on to forever because I am a very sentimental mother.

I went to my friends to pick up my son and daughter, it was a VERY blustery day.

I showed her the picture of our little bean, and gathered my kids to be on my way.

My hands were full, the wind was blowing.....I put everything in the car and suddenly noticed,

the bean photo was GONE! We searched everywhere through the house and the car but I knew where it went...I knew the stupid wind blew it away.

My kids were exhausted and wanted to go home, I could not stay and search for the picture so I went home crying.

I dropped the kids off bundled up and decided to go back and look.

When I got there Melissa was outside looking around.

We decided to take a Target receipt throw it into the air and follow it.

The receipt instantly ZOOMED to the left and then a sharp turn to the right and flew behind about 4 houses and came to a DEAD stop...

Well wouldnt you know not even 5 feet away laid a picture of a beautiful bean underneath a branch.

It was like God had put the stick over the picture for me so it wouldnt fly away any further, he also led us right to the picture.

Miracles do happen :)

Silence

I have been doing nothing but sleeping lately so I don't have much to tell.

Hailey on the other hand is taking after the musical side of the family. She has recently begun writing her own songs! She makes her own lyrics and then gets her play piano or her yo gabba gabba guitar and then writes the music. I haven't been able to catch the whole thing on video yet but this video is of her a few weeks ago.

And with some Hunter news, his teacher told me today that Hunter is the BEST speller in her class and is the only one to get 100% on every spelling test so far! Wooot!
